Custom Web resides in the heart of the Texoma area also known as Texomaland or sometimes Texhoma. The Texoma area comprises Southern Oklahoma and North Texas. Some of the notable cities in this region include: Ardmore, located in Carter County, is home to Lake Murray, AHEC (Ardmore Higher Education Center), The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, and SOTC (Southern Oklahoma Technology Center). Closer to the Texas border is Durant, located in Bryan County. Durant is the home of SOSU (Southern Oklahoma State University). Denison, TX and Sherman, TX are both within an hour's drive from Durant. Tishomingo, located in adjacent Johnston County, is the location of the former capitol of the Chickasaw Nation. Murray State College, the Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge, and Pennington Creek are some of Tishomingo's main attractions. Madill, home of the annual Sand Bass Festival, is located in neighboring Marshall County. Kingston, another town in Marshall County, is where the Striper Festival is held every year. Hundreds of anglers come from all over every year to fish for sand bass and stripers in these two festivals.
